JULIUS CAESAR

by William Shakespeare
Directed by:
Saturday 26 October to Saturday 2 November 2013
Mary Wallace Theatre

Is a benevolent dictatorship sometimes beneficial, even necessary? Are there situations where direct violent action is the most moral course? Can those in power ever be trusted to serve the people they represent, rather than their own interests? Julius Caesar raises still relevant questions about forms of government, the ethics of effecting change, and the ability of political leaders to influence public opinion with the power of oratory.
