All our productions need sets of some description. RSS has considerable backstage building capacity and we like to think we can build most sets within reason and given the limitations of the building.

Sets we construct range from full box sets with several doors to black curtains surrounding a bare stage. A working trap door has recently been added.

We have a large scenery store which includes flats, door boxes, doors, rostra and black curtains. We also have a large woodstore, workshop and comprehensive tools and equipment to build sets. In addition although not strictly part of the setbuild we also have a large collection of furniture and carpets.

Although we have a pool of willing volunteers we welcome anyone who wishes to join our setbuild teams.

We are also keen to welcome anyone who can help with set design.
