You do not have to be a member to audition for one of our productions although you will need to become a full member before the first rehearsal if you are cast in a production.

Auditions are usually held about three months before a production opens with a reading of the play being held at our theatre a week or so before the auditions – a good opportunity to meet the director and other members.

• The next audition is for the May production of Ciphers.  Auditions will be held at 7:45pm on Monday 2 March, following an informal reading on Monday 23 February.  More information on the show is available on the audition notice.  Please contact the director for audition pieces.

• All auditions are in the Mary Wallace Theatre; please arrive early for auditions to complete your registration.

RSS auditions are open to all.  The RSS actively encourages diversity, and casting will not be constrained by any perceived ethnicity of the roles being auditioned.
