TABLE MANNERS

by Alan Ayckbourn
Saturday 18 to Saturday 25 January 2025
Mary Wallace Theatre

Fifty years ago, Alan Ayckbourn’s acclaimed trilogy, The Norman Conquests, opened in the West End. Following the events of a weekend in a faded middle-class abode in the south of England Table Manners (set in the dining room) is the best known. Wildly comic and at times poignant, it portrays a family's relationships in an era before mobile phones and disposable contact lenses.

Guidance – This play was written in 1973 and reflects the language and attitudes of that time.
