PYGMALION

by George Bernard Shaw
Saturday 29 January to Saturday 5 February 2011
Mary Wallace Theatre

Henry Higgins, a well off, rakish, Professor of Phonetics makes a bet that he can transform the manners and speech of Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle and pass her off in society. Bernard Shaw's ever-entertaining dramatic comedy, filled with his wit and style examines class, sexual politics and methods of education - and is of course the source of the very different musical, My Fair Lady.
