Our senior Youth Theatre group (ages 14-18) will be presenting this old favourite by J. M. Barrie, in a new stage version by John Caird and Trevor Nunn.
Our production is very different from the more popular modern day Peter Pans; we have attempted to present it in the style Barrie intended, a complete childhood fantasy in which you can fly, fight Pirates, join a Red Indian tribe and make friends with a crocodile. There are no wires, but yes we still fly, a clever theatrical technique or a moment of pure childhood imagination as Barrie intended his Peter to be? That's up to you to decide. Open your imaginations and become a child again as we present to you our Peter Pan or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up.
Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 February 2012
There will be four performances including a 3pm matinee on Saturday the 25th.
Postal bookings from 14 January
Please enquire of the Box Office before booking tickets as to the extent of the provision available at the Mary Wallace Theatre for those with disabilities.
