Youth Theatres
The R.S.S. has two Youth Theatre groups for youngsters from 9 to 18
For many years, the R.S.S. has run an extremely successful, and popular, Youth Theatre for children of ages nine years to fourteen years old. January 2008 saw the launch of a second youth group, The All's Well Youth Theatre, to cater for youngsters too old for our existing Youth Theatre.
The Youth Theatre takes children from Year 4 to Year 9. They meet on Sunday mornings during term time, with additional early evening rehearsals in the weeks leading up to their production, which is in June.
The A.W.Y.T. starts from the beginning of Year 10 to the end of college/sixth form. They meet on Saturday mornings during term time, with additional early evening rehearsals in the weeks leading up to their production, which is in July.
For both groups we operate a waiting list, and new members are taken in at the beginning of the school year. Youngsters must be Junior members of the R.S.S., and fees are charged each term for the Youth Theatres.
